This Project is located where the old Vilanova i la Geltrú football ground used to stand, and comprises a 137 unit housing development (of which 40 are council flats), commercial and retail spaces, an underground car park, and a Council Leisure Centre.
The geometry of the building is a response to the planning regulations specific for this development, that is: four blocks, three of which are linked in a “U” shape, and a fourth block standing on its own facing Rambla Sant Jordi which encloses the courtyard in the centre of the scheme.
This public space in the centre is easily accessible from the surrounding streets, and it is defined and limited by the commercial and retail areas at ground floor level and the Council Leisure Centre.
