COMPETITION – 1ST PRIZE | 2003

This project began by calculating the entire volume of the building area. From this initial volume, the volume of the public spaces was extracted, creating a first set of volumes that occupied the entire terrain. These spaces were shifted to form two prisms, separated by two cuts that housed the vertical stairwell and elevator shaft at the same time that they reinforced the image of the space as a continuous ribbon. In continuation, eight apartments per floor were situated around the entrance areas.
