The scheme is designed to fit a very specific context, defined by the Camp Roig, the local Cemetery and the Walden building.
Building A. The original planning guidelines for this building have been modified in order to lighten it with a series of overhanging balconies and covered areas in every corner of the building, spinning around its centre. There are six apartments per floor, serviced by one single stair core and set along two corridors open onto a courtyard.
Building B. The building has to respect a 50m separation to the local Cemetery, hence its very special shape: it is a very long and thin (10m deep) structure.
There are two floor layouts for the building, alternately superposed. The result is a very dynamic façade, especially in the one opening onto the street, where the kitchens and living rooms vary in size and position.
